Life is a Journey, Not a Destination

When your kids leave home, go to church as much as you can. Go on cheap weekend trips, go to movies, go to parties, buy passes to the local amusement parks, play video games, buy a x-box or PlayStation, go to museums! Because one day you may wake up and you will be too old to do anything! YOUR YOUTH IS NOT COMING BACK! ENJOY LIFE UNTIL GOD SAYS NO MORE And your get up and go is gone. A few weeks ago I wrote that for my Facebook status, but have given it some more thought, This hit me after becoming a grandparent. I just love holding him and spending time with him. A baby is the poster child for innocence. They only know what we teach Him/her. In our adult lives we get to tied up in politics of the world, and I don't mean Democrat or Republican, I mean where is my share, this is unfair, there is always a competition, always a fight to the top. Yes we have to provide for the family and do our best to get it done. But sometimes I fear it's more of a competition to say I am better ...
